Music City STOL - 2026

The fourth annual Music City STOL moves to the Lebanon Municipal Airport for it annual Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) competition. The approaching Hurricane Isaias made for some touchy weather for the competitors to fly in. I attended the show on Friday afternoon, which was a practice day for the competitors. There were multiple rounds of flights where the competitors practiced their landings and takeoffs. As an added bonus, the local CAF Music City Squadron had their North American SNJ-4 and Fairchild PT-19 trainers on hand selling rides. As a double bonus, there was a P-51D Mustang “Old Crow” and the Valor ¾ P-38 Lighting on static display.
